the copper wire is a part of the wire harness. the quality of the copper wire is related to the quality of the wire harness. therefore, the wire harness manufacturer needs to have a test standard for the copper wire. so what are the standards like this?
1. appearance inspection
put the spools filled with copper wire on the packing table, one hand holding a white paper in the distance of 1 to 2 centimeters from the copper wire, and the other hand rolling the thread of the copper wire for a week, and then to see if the appearance of the wire has reached the following criteria.
(1) the surface should be smooth, there is no disorder, no oxidation, and no scratches and so on.
(2) the line should be uniform, no stacking and lack of edges.
(3) tension should be moderate, not too loose or too tight.
(4) the surface of copper wire can not be sticky after rolling.
2, detection of line diameter
line diameter should be manufactured according to national standards. if customers have special requirements, they must be strictly controlled according to their requirements. the specific steps are as follows:
(1) first adjust whether the micrometer is zero.
(2) place the copper wire that needs to be inspected outside the clamp line of the micrometer, and twist the micrometer's end with proper force.
(3) if you hear the three sound of the micrometer, you should immediately observe its reading.
(4) repeated tests should be repeated until the readings are available. each time, the same location can not be detected.
3. test of elongation
the elongation should be tested according to the relevant national standards. if customers have special requirements, they must be strictly controlled according to the requirements. the specific steps are as follows:
(1) switch on the elongation tester
(2), check the wire on the left of the copper wire is not in the original position, the reading on the instrument is not zero, if the left clip is not in the original place, and the readings of the instrument have not returned to zero, then press the zero key and restore the key immediately.
